RAW CHOCOLATE CARAMEL SLICE

This master piece is crazy good but don't just take my word for it!
I've made this for numerous people who have never had clean desserts before and they couldn't believe how amazing it was. While it's not laden in refined sugars, it manages to satisfy the cravings due to the dates, rice syrup and raw cacao.
The dates contain natural sugars which sweeten and balance this dessert while the rice malt syrup gives the taste of honey but without the high fructose count (the stuff we try to avoid when we cut out sugar). Raw cacao powder is another amazing ingredient that i can't live without and it's a must in this recipe.. Raw cacao lowers insulin resistance, protects your nervous system due to high levels of resveratrol, (a potent antioxidant also found in red wine) known for its ability to cross your blood-brain barrier to help protect your nervous system. It has a good count of Magnesium along with other essential minerals such as calcium, sulfur, zinc, iron, copper, potassium, and manganese, it contains antioxidant rich flavonoids, vitamins: B1, B2, B3, B5, B9, C, E, Protein and fibre.
High speed blenders like the Breville Boss or Vitamix are preferred ways to blend up the ingredients but many of my clients use the Bullet and Ninja too. Even with the high powered blenders always chop up the ingredients like dates to help blend evenly.
