FAQs

WHAT EQUIPMENT TO I NEED?

You will need minimal equipment. Ideally:

  • 2 x pairs of dumbbells (1 light and 1 heavy)

  • Fitness mat

  • Step (optional) to step up onto

do i need a gym membership?

The challenge can be completed at the gym, however it has been designed to be done at home with a couple of dumbbells or kettlebells. If you have a gym membership then you can certainly use the dumbbells and benches at the gym. The app will allow you to swap out exercises too, so if you have a DB Bench Press in your workout, then you can use the swap out feature to select a seated bench press machine if your gym has this machine.

i’m a fussy eater, will this work for me ?

The challenge will give you a sample meal plan to use as a guide. The FBBN Programs and this challenge all encourage you to eat the foods you enjoy while sticking to a calorie and protein target.

This style of eating is called flexible dieting and is what makes our programs so successful. We love our members eating foods they enjoy while ensuring they are hitting their nutrition targets. So eating chocolate and having a glass of wine is not out of the question, in fact it’s encouraged to help you stay on track and to reduce the likeliness of you binging because you restricted too hard.

will i have to track calories?

Yes we encourage tracking calories and macros because it has shown to give us the quickest and easiest way to ensure you are eating in a calorie deficit and not guessing about how much protein you ate.

Some people get overwhelmed by the thought of tracking and we understand this, however we also encourage you to ‘learn’ this new skill if you have not been making progress with your fat loss goals. Once you understand how much portion sizes are and what it takes to hit your protein or accidently go over on your calories, you will be better informed to make healthier choices. Education is power and we want to show you HOW to change your eating habits to reach your goals..

i’m just a beginner in strength training, can i do this?

Absolutely!! We encourage everyone one start where they are and work their way up. I have helped so many new women start strength training and become fitter, stronger and improve their metabolism when they had no experience at all.

what happens once the 7 day challenge finished?

The 7 day challenge will finish and you will have 2 choices: to go back to what you were doing before and continue that method to try and reach your goals OR you will have the option to join our 12 Week Fit Body Challenge that starts soon.

Yes we are recruiting for our FIT BODY BY NIKKI Programs and our 7 day challenge is a fabulous introduction to what we do and HOW we do it. We definitely do it a little different, we are a coaching community which means we want to hold your hand and coach you to success.

Other “fitness apps” run programs that are cheaper and have all the latest buzz words attached BUT they are not coaching programs. Most of them are great options to get your body moving and in some cases offer basic nutrition, however they are not in the game of teaching you how to manage this yourself long term. They rely on you coming back again and again with the same goal. We are DIFFERENT !
